For Ron Weasley Lovers

You walked down the stairs, heading for the Christmas feast. You had just transferred to Hogwarts around September because your mother and you had moved to England for her job. You were the only witch in the family. You sighed and sat down to eat the dinner. Oddly enough the trio of friends, one who was famous for surviving an unforgivable curse, sat down next to you. They were the first friends you made.

"Hey guys. I thought you three went home for Christmas."

"I asked my parents if I could stay. I needed to help Ron with something." Hermione said. Ron sort of shot a glare at her.

"Mum and dad are visiting Bill in Egypt again so me and Harry are staying here." Ron said grabbing some food and threw it on his plate. You smiled at them and started to eat. Ron kept looking over at you and every time you made eye contact, he'd blush and looked away. You got fed up and left, deciding to go back to the Gryffindor common room. You stepped through the painting hole and plopped onto a couch in front of the fire. It was pretty much empty since most of the kids go home for Christmas. You stretched your legs out and closed your eyes. You heard the painting open and close but you didn't even bother to open your eyes. That was until you felt lips press against your own. Your eyes shot wide and to scrambled away a bit. Ron looked at you with a bit of fear and sadness. He had a small present in his hand. "Here. This is for you." He held it out to you.

"Thanks." You slowly took it and opened it. Inside a wrapped covered box laid a golden necklace. It was in the shape of a star, your favorite symbol. You looked up at him. "How'd you afford this?"

"Hermione and Harry helped me scrap the money together. They know how much I like you. Guess you do now too." You moved you legs so he could sit next to you. He sat with a plop and sighed. "But acting like that, I guess you don't like me like I like you."

"That's not true! I love you!" The words came out so fast out of your mouth, your hand snapped up to try and catch the words. They hung thick in the air like some foul odor. You stared at the necklace. "I didn't get you anything..... I'm sorry...."

"Huh? I wasn't really expecting anything... but maybe you could give me a gift... Another kiss?" You looked over at him, surprised. His face and ears were almost the same color as his hair. You smiled and leaned in, laying a sweet kiss on his lips. You decided to enjoy it this time. His lips were soft, but a bit chapped due to the cold weather. The tasted like the food you ate before coming up to the common room. Though you think he got up some nerve because you felt his tongue clumsy lip your bottom lip. You opened you're mouth a bit and let him explore it until it was time for you to breath. You stared at the fire, not even realizing he pulled the necklace from the box and put it on you. "You look so pretty." You snapped your head to him and blushed.

"Thanks."

"Maybe one more thing... You could... be my girlfriend?" You went to staring back at the fire and then slipped your hand in his, silently agreeing to his question. You two cuddled together and fell asleep on the couch. The only time you woke up is when you thought you heard a boy chuckle and a girl sigh exasperatedly and walk away.
